Well, I'll assume you've watched season one if you're looking at the Seitokai Yakuindomo OVAs. Honestly, even though 8 ovas is a lot, as a whole or even stand alone these were pretty much just as good as the original series. The story didn't change, obviously. You'll get more of the same type of sexual comedy that you should be used to now. Don't be expecting character changes, new opening and ending themes, newer animation style, etc. Basically everything, is the same old stuff you must have liked from season if you're looking at this.

SYD is back for more. Still funny, still gross, and there's more.

It is always a grand move when anime series release OVA episodes as means of taking more risks with their audience along the way and present something that is a bit edgier and riskier without being too radical. SYD did just that and then some. Honestly, if you're not at all feeling shocked and amused with "Dried Squid and Takatoshi" mini arc, then perhaps it's best for you to switch to one of those Marvel or DC Animation realms.

Mixed Feelings

I might as well review the succeeding installments if I'm hoping for improvement. Sure enough, Seitokai Yakuindomo's OVA continues the double entendre-filled days of the Ousai Student Council.

The OVA directly adapts several chapters in the 4-koma, and possibly could have added some anime-original scenes I couldn't point out anymore because in contrast to last time, the segments are more focused on the gags of the Student Council themselves and not some random unimportant illusionary characters.
