Transportation
Glenfir School has a growing fleet of school busses that provide safe, affordable daily transportation for Glenfir students from Kelowna, Westbank, Peachland, and Penticton. The drivers are fully certified, and have been working safely with the school for many years.
Driving directions are also provided for families who do not use the busses.
Bus Schedule
Please note that the times listed below are DEPARTURE times, and NOT the time students need to be at the stop. Students should be at their designated stops at least five minutes before the below noted departure times.
Kelowna Bus
Morning Route:
-Departs Kelowna %u2013 Sutherland and Richter %u2013 in the church parking lot at 7:15 a.m.
-Stops at Lakeview Heights Super Save Gas, Hwy 97 at 7:25 a.m.
-Stops at Westbank, Westbridge Centre Mall at 7:35 a.m.
-Stops at Hudson and Greata, Peachland at 7:45 a.m.
-Stops at Peachland, Hwy. 97 at The Okanagan Pottery Studio at 7:50 a.m.
-Arrives in Summerland, Glenfir School, at 8:25 a.m.
Afternoon Route:
-Departs Glenfir School, Summerland at 15:40 p.m.
-Stops in Peachland, Hwy. 97 and Princeton Avenue at 16:00 p.m.
-Stops at Hudson and Greata, Peachland at 15:50 p.m.
-Stops in Westbank, Westbank Towne Centre (By City bus stop) at 16:15 p.m.
-Stops in Lakeview Heights, Mac%u2019s, Hwy. 97 and Boucherie Road at 16:25 p.m.
-Stops in Kelowna, Sutherland and Richter in the church parking lot at 16:35 p.m.
Penticton Bus
Morning Route:
-Departs Loco Landing parking lot at 8:00 a.m.
-Pick-up at Summerland Fruit Stand at 8:08 a.m.
-Arrives in Summerland, Glenfir School at 8:18 a.m.
Afternoon Route:
-Departs Glenfir at 15:38 p.m.
-Drop off at Blossom Fruit Stand in Trout Creek at 15:49 p.m.
-Drop off at Loco Landing (Penticton) at 16:00 p.m.
For students who are involved in after-school activities, Glenfir also offers a late bus. The late bus will follow the same routing as the early bus (afternoon route) but one hour later ( /-) 10 minutes on all routes. All times are dependent on traffic and weather conditions.
